Childrens Ministry

1. Awana

 Awana meets in the ministry center of Oak Grove each Wednesday from 5:30 to 8:00 PM.  Awana is for preschoolers (3 years old) through the fifth grade. We begin at 5:30 PM with a snack supper, which is free to all Awana participants.   Then we have recreation, Bible memorization, and Bible truths taught to each age group. There is lots of fun with some really cool leaders. Recreation time is great for each age group.     If you or your parents have any questions, just call  the church office at 576-4111.

2. Childrens Worship

We offer Children’s Worship for children in grades 1-3 during our morning worship service.  Worship Teams will lead Children’s Worship. Each team will teach a month’s unit from a Children’s Worship guide entitled “Follow Jesus.” The children will learn many ways to follow Jesus and apply these truths to everyday living.  In Children’s Worship, adults will lead the children to do the things their parents do in “big church.” We have found this to be a very encouraging ministry to the children in our church.  If you have any questions about Children’s Worship, please call the church office at 576-4111.
